Our Mission

TMA is a nonprofit corporation founded in 2005 to help impoverished villagers of the Thane District of India achieve a better way of life. Our major project there is a water purification program that provides the means for obtaining clean drinking water plus a knowledge of hygiene and sanitation. Our goal is to provide a Biosand water filter to every villager in this area who wants one. An increase in pure drinking water means a decrease in waterborne diseases.
