WATER PURIFICATION PROJECT
In India, diarrhea alone causes more than 1,600 deaths daily. Lack of pure drinking water is a major cause of waterborne diseases. TMA is working on a solution in the Thane District of India…a solution that is inexpensive and easy to implement. TMA has distributed over 1,200 Biosand water filters in this area.

On June 25, 2010, they came to Fire Mountain - on foot with tubs on their heads, with bags in their hands, by bicycle, by ox cart and tuk-tuk and truck. The news of the plant give away had spread throughout the valley and the demand for the seedling plants exceeded our imagination. This is our first success.

EDUCATION PROJECTS
We need your support to keep Dinesh doing what he loves to do: helping Adivasi/First People’s children learn English. In the summer of 2011, Kitab Korner Foundation of Pune, India installed eight school libraries with over 2000 books picked to inspire children to learn English. Dinesh travels among all eight schools each week teaching children how to utilize their new asset, The Lending Libray.
